The Dukes
On January 16, Maryland-based rock band, The Dukes performed at Jammin' Java. As the opening band, they got the party started with meticulous riffs, witty interaction with the fans, and epic covers of Relient K and All Time Low. The band is made up of four teenagers, who clearly know they're teenagers because they were having fun on stage, yet took the responsibility of performing for fans seriously. Even when they were having technical difficulties with Cameron's guitar, the band kept the crowd entertained, including a brief second of Wong (vocals/guitar) resulting to the "awkward palm tree."
