Music is like air; without it, I cannot breathe. I love all types of music, from the hits played on Top 40 stations, to the underground demos you can only get from a sketchy struggling artist. But, right now, I would have to say that I'm addicted to indie and unsigned bands. I'm talking about those bands that aren't paying giant record labels to produce their stuff. And it's nothing against bands or artists that want to be supported by powerhouse labels, it's just that I love the earnesty in artists that do not have a big suit in the way of the fans.
Unfortunately for these indie/unsigned bands, they do not get the same type of exposure as artists signed to major labels. The main reason is because some of them aren't exactly...good. But, a lot of them are. So, this blog will help you sort through the lame-o's and the Oh-my-gosh-how-are-you-unknown bands.
