The Downtown Fiction, "She Knows"

Truth:
Today, alternative band The Downtown Fiction released their newest single, “She Knows.” This is the second single to be released from their upcoming album, “Let’s Be Animals” (expected release: April 26).

Sarah:
The band manages to stick to their original sound that fans fell in love with in their first EP and album. It has the same alternative-with-a-pop sound that “Best I Never Had” has.
“She Knows” is a good step-forward from “Best I Never Had” and “The Double EP.” While the sound is quite similar, the content is much deeper and more mature. Like the first single off the new album, “Thanks For Nothing,” the song contains content that may relate more to older audiences, which is good since their fanbase is not only expanding, but also maturing. The single is about a girl who knows about the romantic escapades her partner has been going on, and she is ready to leave the loveless relationship. It features lyrics like:
She’s not a girl you can replace
Searching the depths of outer space
You know you did it oh you know you did it
Now you’ve gone and lost it all for good
The band is accomplishing more and more as they develop as musicians and this single is only a foreshadow of the awesomeness to come. In fact, as of now, “She Knows is at #38 on the iTunes Alternative Chart.
